PLOT
During the height of the Roman Empire, Julius Caesar was forever in doubt what his people would think, one objective came to hand when Hengist Pod was Captured and belived to have fought off a number of Romans, with this he became Caesar's bodyguard. Soon people was affriad of this reluctant bodygaurd forcing Caesar to deal with Cleopatra, not knowing his best friend Mark Antony was plotting to kill Caesar. After the plot was uncovered it was down to Hengist to show all his might to defeat Cleo's bodyguard. On Caesar's return to Rome all was done, especally Ceasar that is.

VERDICT
One of the strongest from the 60's. The Carry On's at this time was going from strenth to strenth, the sucsess was booming and packing out cinema's nationwide, however this film prove very popular amongst the fan's and still does. The sets are great (Pinched from the classic film "Cleopatra") the costume's are amazing and the cast are in fine form. It's fair to say without kenneth Connor this film would not be as great as it is, it clearly is his film and really makes the most laughs.
A great Carry On with that whole Epic feeling to it, simply wonderfull!!
