| PLOT After a Top Secret formula is stolen, it has to retrieved. Simkins, and his bunch of dodgy and new recruits tackle the job, on the case of the notorious Fatman, who has it. There trip takes them to the lovley climbs of Vienna, where the retrive the formula, on the way home, the train is crawling with hench men, so Daphne Honeybutt uses her photograpic mind to take note of the details before destroying the formula over a bowl of soup! However Dr.Crow has something more in store, sending Daphne through the brain-drain, while the other have to escape the cluthes of Dr. Crow. | VERDICT A Masterpiece. This is proberly one of the strongest Black and White Carry On's. Full of fun and an excellent spoof of the Bond films. In fact so much that the Bond film company was on to them over Charles Hawtrey's name, legal action was even on the books, his name was Charlie Bind 001 and a half, but was changed to the more subtile 0.0.0. Best bit from the film has to be the Cafe Mozart scene, absolutley halairious and captures all four in there best. Spying never fails to excite and full of fun and gags, and certainly a winning formula!!! |
