The Principality of Wales makes up part of the UK, together with England, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

Cardiff is the capital, Welsh the native language (although English is more widely used) and the Patron saint is Dewi Sant.  Wales is known for its beautiful countryside.

Famous Welsh include Tom Jones,  Richard Burton, Anthony Hopkins, Shirley Bassey, Catherine Zeta Jones, Manic Street Preachers and the Stereophonics.
