Materials
Small amounts of DK yarn in beige and white for rabbit and yellow and orange for chick, beads for eyes and nose, 3.50mm hook, tapestry needle for sewing in ends.

Notes
cldec -cluster decrease: *(yoh, insert hook in stitch, yoh and draw through a loop, yoh and draw through 2 loops on hook) twice, repeat from * in next stitch, yoh and draw through all 5 loops on hook.
cl - cluster: (yoh, insert hook in stitch, yoh and draw through a loop, yoh and draw through 2 loops on hook) 3 times, yoh and draw through all 4 loops on hook.
bsc: beaded sc

Bunny

Thread 1 bead on for nose and 2 beads on for eyes.
Rnd 1: Ch 2, 2 sc in 1^st ch, make ear *ch 6, sc in 2^nd ch from hook, hdc in next ch, dc in next 2 ch, hdc in next ch**, sc in 1^st ch, rep from * to ** for next ear, 3 sc in 1^st ch, slst to 2^nd ch, mark as right side, turn. (6 sc and 2 ears)
Rnd 2: Ch 1, 2 sc in each of next 3 sc, *make ear (sc in next sc, mark last st worked, sc in next 3 sc, 3 sc in next sc, working along other side of ch in unused loops, 2 sc in next ch, sc in next 3 ch, fold ear in half length ways with right side to outside, matching marked sc with next ch, and, working through both layers, sc in next sc),** 3 sc in next sc, rep from * to ** for next ear, 2 sc in each of next 2 sc, slst to 1^st ch, turn. (13 sc and 2 ears)
Rnd 3: Ch 1, sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc, sc in next 2 sc, miss ear, 2 sc in next sc, sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc, miss ear, sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc, sc in next 3 sc, slst to 1^st ch, turn. (17 sts)
Rnd 4: Ch 1, sc in next 8 sc, bsc in next sc, sc in next sc, bsc in next sc, sc in next 6 sc, slst to 1^st ch, turn.
Rnd 5: Ch 1, sc in each sc, slst to 1^st ch, turn.
Rnd 6: Ch 1, (sc in next 2 sc, dc2tog) twice, lpst in next sc, bsc in next sc, lpst in next sc, dc2tog, sc in next 2 sc, dc2tog, slst to 1^st ch, turn. (13 sts)
Rnd 7: Ch 1, sc in next sc, (dc2tog, sc in next 2 sc) 3 times, slst to 1^st ch, turn. (10 sts)
Rnd 8: Ch 1, (2 sc in next sc, sc in next 4 sc) twice, slst to 1^st ch, turn. (12 sts)
Rnd 9: Ch 1, (2 sc in next sc, sc in next 2 sc) 4 times, slst to 1^st ch, turn. (16 sts)
Rnd 10: Ch 1, (2 sc in next sc, sc in next 3 sc) 4 times, slst to 1^st ch, turn. (20 sts)
Rnds 11-15: Ch 1, sc in each sc, slst to 1^st ch, turn.
Rnd 16: Ch 1, sc in next sc, change to white, cldec over next 2 sc, change to colour, sc in next 3 sc, dc2tog, sc in next 2 sc, cl in next sc, dc2tog, cl in next sc, sc in next 2 sc, dc2tog, sc in next 2 sc, slst to 1^st ch, turn. (16 sts)
Rnd 17: Ch 1, (dc2tog, sc in next 2 sc) 4 times, slst to 1^st ch, turn. (12 sts)

Fill with toy stuffing.

Rnd 18: Ch 1, dc2tog 6 times, slst to 1^st ch, fasten off and sew up hole.

Chick

Thread 2 beads on for eyes.
Rnd 1: Ch 2, 6 sc in 1^st ch, slst to 2^nd ch, mark as right side, turn. (6 sts)
Rnd 2: Ch 1, 2 sc in each sc, slst to 1^st ch, turn. (12 sts)
Rnd 3: Ch 1, (2 sc in next sc, sc in next 2 sc) 4 times, slst to 1^st ch, turn. (16 sts)
Rnd 4: Ch 1, sc in next 7 sc, bsc in next 2 sc, sc in next 7 sc, slst to 1^st ch, turn.
Rnd 5: Ch 1, sc in next 8 sc, change to orange and drop yellow, make beak (ch 3, slst in 2^nd ch from hook, hdc in next ch), change to yellow and cut orange, sc in next 8 sc, slst to 1^st ch, turn.
Rnd 6: Ch 1, (dc2tog, sc in next 2 sc) twice, miss beak making sure it is held to the right side, (dc2tog, sc in next 2 sc) twice, slst to 1^st ch, turn. (12 sts)
Rnd 7: Ch 1, (dc2tog, sc in next 2 sc) 3 times, slst to 1^st ch, turn. (9 sts)
Rnd 8: Ch 1, (2 sc in next sc, sc in next 2 sc) 3 times, slst to 1^st ch, turn. (12 sts)
Rnd 9: Ch 1, (2 sc in next sc, sc in next 2 sc) 4 times, slst to 1^st ch, turn. (16 sts)
Rnd 10: Ch 1, sc in next 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc, *make wing (ch 6, sc in 2^nd ch from hook, hdc in next ch, dc in next 2 ch, hdc in next ch),** 2 sc in next sc, sc in next 6 sc, 2 sc in next sc, rep from * to ** for next wing, 2 sc in next sc, sc in next 3 sc, slst to 1^st ch, turn.
