The National Chinchilla Society holds regular regional show and one large National show which is the last show of the show year and all the members from the various regions attend. Usually held in April. The top award to be gained at this show is the coveted National Grand Show Champ Title. I am happy to say that I have won this award twice. 2003 and 2005.  my name on results page is Cook It's a very hard award to win as all the top breeders attend this show with the high hopes of carrying home the award which shows your chinchilla is the 'top' chinchilla in UK. My chinchillas are top quality show chinchillas and have won many awards for me.I have gained breeders points also at each show I attend. When a breeder says they have won breeders points at shows it is proof that they have lots of award winning chinchillas at the show that day. Indeed you cannot get these breeders points with just a few wins at the show.
