£5.50 meal deal is great value get homemade soup or garlic bread then a main course.
Try the burgers – most of them are homemade.
A change from the regular thorley taverns menu and cheaper too.
Fish 'n' Chip shops ( scores from Robin Edwards ) 10/10. Best in Birchington takes some beating.
9/10. Harbour Street Ramsgate.
8/10. Then the one on the end of Broadstairs Pier.
7/10. High Street Garlinge.
we were not keen on The Fish Factory's greasy offers.

Not in Thanet i know, but well worth the trip out, lovely grub and nice garden to boot !
