What do you like about the genre "musical" and what's been the reason for you to choose the job of a musical actor?
Musicals are fantasy, they are not real and I think it's healthy for people to escape for two and a half hours. Musical is providing that space.
As for choosing the job: I didn't chose to be a musical star, it chose me.

Except the positive aspects about the genre, are there any negative aspects as well, that you don't like too much?
The social hours, it' a very unsocial job. Meaning- you know- most people work from ten to six and have their evening free. They have of course public holidays, Christmas and New Years Eve. That's my busiest time!

What do you like about "Cats" and what would you like to change?
If it isn't broken, don't try to fix it.

Which part do you play in "Cats" and which one, except the current one, would you like to play one day?
I love my role and I've played most of the others anyway.

What was your personal premiere at "Cats" like?
A truly amazing experience. It was the first time my father had seen me dance on the stage and the only time as he past away one year later.

What's your favourite "scene" and favourite song in "Cats"?
The finale is my favourite scene. Favourite song: I love them all!

What was your very first audition for a musical like?
Auditions are something I like. As I audition with the idea that they want me to be the right person for the job. They don't want to be sat watching an endless amount of people singing for some part. I'm sure, they have better things to do.

How do you prepare for a new part in a musical play?
I have early nights and no cigarettes or alcohol.

How important are fans to you?
I guess, some people say, fans are not important to me, because of the amount of responsibility that brings. And also because I'm not special. I'm just an actor.

What has been your most embarrassing moment on stage?
I had many embarrassing moments on stage, but I think an audience likes to see mistakes. Is like going to the ice- skating competitions. When you see them fall, you feel like you had your moneys worth.

Do you have any idols?
Gene Kelly is my all-time idol.

What do you do in your (spare) free time and what kind of music do you listen to?
I don't have much free time. And asked for music- anything that makes me feel good.

Do you usually have stage fright?
No, not frightened, but there is obviously tention.

What would you like to tell your fans and the fans of "Cats"?
Keep rocking!
