  • Joel Chase, Captain, Royal Navy. Helped out by Sharpe in Bombay the Captain becomes Sharpe’s friend and recaptures the Calliope from the French. He commands the ship HMS Pucelle and chases the Revenant until Trafalgar where he captures the ship along with Cromwell. At Copenhagen he is part of the British fleet and it is he and his men that both help Sharpe find Lavisser and stop the Danish forces destroying their navy. Sharpe’s Trafalgar and Prey.<o:p></o:p>
