- Augustus Farthingdale, Colonel. The foppish Colonel who wears the uniform of the Princess Royals’ Dragoons is found out by Sharpe for rescuing his ‘wife’ who turns out to be his whore, Josafina Locosta. The Colonel cowardly tries to pull out the garrison but Sharpe scotches him and then defeats the French. Sharpe’s Enemy.<o:p></o:p>
- ?, Kinney, Lieutenant- Colonel, Fusiliers. The Welshman is a good officer but he is killed by the army of deserters at Adrados even though the Colonel is under a flag of truce. Sharpe’s Enemy.<o:p></o:p>
- ?, Ford, Major, Fusiliers. Kinney’s second in command he is shot in the back during the assault on the deserters as he is very unpopular. Sharpe’s Enemy.<o:p></o:p>
- ?, Brooker, Captain, Fusiliers. The Captain is commander of the Grenadier Company and ends up in charge of the battalion. Sharpe’s Enemy.<o:p></o:p>
- ?, McDonald, Ensign, South Essex. Yet another new Ensign for Sharpe he is killed by Leroux even though the Frenchman is on parole. Sharpe’s Sword.<o:p></o:p>
- Sir Robin Collard. One of the lackey’s surrounding La Marquesa de Cesares el Grande y Melida Sadaba’s carriage. Sharpe’s Sword.<o:p></o:p>
- Lord Jack Spears, Captain, Cavalry. His Lordship, one of Hogan’s Exploring Officers, is a kind, friendly man and as handsome as the day is long but his honour is thrown away by Leroux who forces him into spying and Spears also has the dreaded Black Lion pox and deliberately gets himself shot right at the end of the battle of Salamance. Sharpe, liking the Lord, protects his honour and gives him the hero’s death. Sharpe’s Sword.<o:p></o:p>
- ?, Bowes, Brigadier- General. The General is in charge of the first assault on the three forts in Salamanca but is killed during the unsuccessful attack. Sharpe’s Sword.<o:p></o:p>
- Michael Connelly, Sergeant. The Irishman, dying of alcohol poisoning is in charge of the death room at the hospital. Sharpe’s Sword.<o:p></o:p>
- Peter D’Alembord, Captain, South Essex. Takes over the Light Company when Sharpe is made a Regimental Major and he proves to be a good officer. He is promoted to Major during the Waterloo campaign but he is wounded in the leg during Waterloo and has to have the leg amputated. Sharpe’s Honour, Regiment, Revenge and Waterloo.
