She got her name from the one night stands

She had her fun with the one night bands

She hated routine so she played around

Free and easy she was one of the crowd

But her goodtime did'nt stretch too far

Unhappy ending in an overturned car

a lot of people miss her a lot of people miss her

I'm not the only one.

She always had a funny thing about speed

Sometimes drivin' hard was all that she'd need

Takin' chances on the highways of life

Took one too many back in 79

Rollin' over down a grassy bank

Flames were lickin' round the petrol tank

A lot of people miss her, a lot of people miss her

That girl made up her mind.,when she was only ten..

Not to hang around, she'd be goin' to town,

When she was old enough, to meet the men.

Nobody was gonna get in her way,

Cos she was a headstrong girl.

So she spent her nights, beneath the city lights,

all leather skirts and curls.

All the money she ever earned

she ended up blowing in bars

And in the summer of 79..she ended her life in a car.

A clever woman, with the face of a child

A joy to many, she could never be cold

A lovely woman had a heart of gold

But does it always have to be the way

live your life too fast and then you gotta pay..?
