'He made his Irish debut at Childline recently and now Jonathan Wilkes is ready to launch his pop career this spring with his first single, Just Another Day. The fact that he's Robbie Williams flatmate won't do him any harm. ``I can't help my best mate being Robbie Williams,'' he says. ``I'm glad he's my best mate because he offers all the advice I need. As soon as I've written a song he'll give me his honest opinion about what needs changing. I could have very easily jumped on the bandwagon 12 months ago and said, `I'm Robbie Williams' best mate,' but I'd have lasted 10 minutes. I've been doing this for six years. It's all about learning how to work an audience live and I've done that.''
