We use Brinks in both homes. Pulte are supposed to have prewired all their homes and had the control panel fitted. The first onehad, but the second one hadn't! Brinks Home Security, Richard Ortiz Security Sales Consultant 800 445 0872. Messages 800 874 7622 Extension 77473 If the home has a Brinks alarm control panel (some have ADT, but they will swop that for one of their own for free) then they will commission the system for you for free, provided you sign up for a for a 12 month contract. It is approx. $26 per month or about $32 with full maintenance, i.e. ALL components are covered under a maintenance contract, so if say a window switch fails, then they change it out for free. Hi Guy's We would like to recommend "Ramano's Macaroni Grill", its on the 192 heading east, just past celebration. The service and food was excelent, the price was even better @ $46 for 2 which included cocktails, beer, starters and main course. "Geordanios" (spelling may not be corect) italian restaurant next to TGI Fridays in Formossa Plaza, again to be excelent value, if eating in or taking out, plus they deliver. Regards Rob & Maria

As homeowners at Windsor Palms, we do have a special group discount set up. Call 1-800-626-2224 prior to the end of your first year warranty. They cover GE Appliances as well as other brands. Depending upon what you want covered, they have a Home Package which covers Central A/C, Dishwasher, Hot Water Heater, Refrigerator/Freezer, Stove/Oven. You can add on the Washer, Dryer, or Microwave. With regard to payment they have two options. The first is yearly and you pick the number of years you would like and pay for whatever number you choose. This plan is transferrable to the new owners. The second is a "price lock" plan and this is actually less per month, and you do not commit to any number of months. They draft the monthly payment from either your checking account or charge it to a credit card. They do keep 3 months in escrow incase of credit card expiration date problems. This escrow is applied to your last months before you cancel or sell the home. This price is valid indefinitely until you cancel/sell. It is not transferable. Both these plans cover all parts and labor for repairs. There is an additional monthly fee if you want product replacement coverage. You will need to supply them with your model and serial numbers.

Next door to Publix is a Public Library that offers Internet Access for checking and sending your emails whilst you are on vacation. All the Library ask for is a small donation and they give you a bar code card that logs you onto their Internet and it allows you to print as well. There is a Main Post Office just up the US27 on your right behind a gas station. They do all you'd expect from a Main Post Office and are cheaper than stores like Mailboxes Unlimited etc. But you need to have lots of post for the journey to be worthwhile, you are better following John & Mary's notes below. Regards, Dave & Deb Video & DVD Rental Go to the end of the Formosa Gardens Boulevard and turn left on the 192. Go past the first Publix, drive 3-4 miles and you will come to a second Publix. Within this shopping centre there is a video rental store. You will need a photo i.d. (they will take your passport or UK (photo) driving licence), credit card and villa phone number. This video store does not have a huge range but it is the nearest and is well worth joining if you’ve got children with you :-) I'm pretty sure they did DVD as well. Internet Cafes in Formosa Gardens Plaza

The All Star Connect Internet Cafe is next door to the All Star Vacations office. Rates are $5.95 for first 20 minutes, .20 for each minute (plus tax). Another Internet Cafe is in the small "Tourist Info" building. They advertized that people can use their wireless computers from inside the building or outside in their car. The staff person there wasn't very friendly and I didn't get rates . Phone is 407-397-2570.

On Line Fax Service

We have used efax (www.efax.com) for some time now. They supply a US fax
number and them email the faxes to you. They have a free service which we
use and I think they must have some pay for upgrade options, but we have
never used any pay service with them.
We have not had any problems getting faxes via there. It works great with
time differences, no phones ringing at silly times in the morning.
