Easingwold
The start is at the top of the home stright ,two plain fences are jumped before a left hand turn takes the runners in front of the stands,were three plain and the ditch are taken .A left turn takes the runners uphill ,two plain fences take the runners back to the start. The run in from the last is uphill (shute ) races have been won on this tough run to the post.
This course as been in use at Easingwold since 1965.

Is followed by the open ditch.
The 5th, another plain fence.
The 6th fence as been put in at the bottom of the hill to replace the one at the top of the hill.
The run up the hill to the farm.
The ground levels out (note the fence on the left which is to be removed )

Its a long run from the 6th fence to the back straight.
The runners pass though the gate to face the 7th (plain fence)
7th fence which cant be seen from the stands .
The 8th a plain fence
A right turn takes a the field to the start line

and back to the first two fences
After another circuit it a long uphill run to the winning post.
