The home to the Bedale Hunt 3miles West of the A1, Follow signs for Hornby Castle. Course Details --Set in the grounds of Hornby Castle since 1947 this undulating course has 8 f 20j,theres a pull up to the ridge . The start is at the top of the home stright two plain fences are taken before the open ditch, two more plain fences are taken before the climb up to the ridge(rough) The down hill fence takes some jumping and its here that races are won or lost,two fences are taken after the turn with a short run . This is a true stayers course,viewing from the middle bank is good , good food and drinks outlets, car parking first class. The tents and ring are in the middle of the course .It can get a bit tight as this meeting gets a good crowd. |
