Home to The Zetland and The Old Raby Hunts can be found 5 miles West of Bishop Auckland , A69 to Corbridge, Witton Castle on right going down hill to Witton-le-Wear.
Course Details --It`s back to the Castle for the Zetland meeting,run around the lakes, same set up as for the Old Raby with 9 fences that are well made and jump well,good viewing from the bank, full bar and refreshments, and two car parks.
The start is way out on the course,two fences are taken before the turn into the home stright and three plain fences before turning right to face the open ditch,it`s a long run to the next plain fence which is taken as the runners turn right into the back stright.
Races are often won here going to the last fence and with a short run in its the one that jumps the last best wins.
This track as been in use since 1984.The Zetland raced at Hardwick Park ,Moor House Barforth Grange,and Stone Cross Farm Marwood.
